Michelle Medlock Adams has earned awards from the Associated
Press and the Society of Professional Journalists; published thousands of newspaper and magazine articles in prestigious publications
such as "Today's Christian Woman" and "Writer's Digest;” authored 17 books, including her award-winning children's book,
"Conversations On the Ark." This year, "Little Colt's Palm Sunday" "Little Lessons From a Big God" and "Memories of the

Alan Stacy is a picture book illustrator, writer, musician, actor, sculptor, teacher and artist. Career aspirations have
included a 2 year stint in medical school, B.S. degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry, Environmental Engineering, Draftsman,
Graphic Artist in television broadcasting and computer animation, Makeup Artist, Costume designer and fabricator for
films, print and theatre. He has illustrated several children’s books for Sleeping Bear Press.
Peggy Purser Freeman is the award winning children’s book author of The Coldest Day in Texas;
writes and directs children’s television and radio programs; instructs writing courses at UTA & Tarleton; conducts
workshops throughout the US which focus on the writing
process, Texas history, responsible behavior & values.
Workshop Registration Fee: $60.00 (includes Friday reception & Saturday continental breakfast)
